Creating Speed
In its standard duplex printing mode, the MF419dw averaged 18. dokuz pages per minute (ppm) in printing the text-only (Word) area of our new business applications suite, a little faster than it is 17ppm rated speed. In printing the full collection, consisting of PDF, PowerPoint, and Excel files in addition to the aforementioned Expression document, it averaged 14. 1ppm. These times were just like those of the Canon MF416dw, which we clocked at 17. 2ppm on the written text message document and 11. 5ppm on the complete suite.Found in ad-hoc testing in simplex (one-sided) printing mode, the MF419dw printed our text message document at 28. 7ppm, a lttle bit short of their 35ppm simplex speed score, though still respectable. In printing our full business suite, it averaged sixteen. 4ppm. The Brother MFC-L6700DW smoked these tests, hitting 47. 1ppm on the text-only portion of our tests, consistent with its 48ppm rated speed, and twenty-three. 8ppm across our full test collection
Output Top quality
Overall output quality in our testing was typical of a mono lazer, with average text, a bit above-par graphics, and average photos. Even average textual content for a mono lazer is good enough for any business use apart from for those requiring very small fonts.
Most of the graphics looked understand, although Used to do notice some mild banding in one illustration. Graphics should be good enough for PowerPoint handouts. Photo quality is decent for printing out images from webpages and the like.
Running costs for the MF249dw, based upon Canon’s prices and yield characters for toner cartridges, are 3. 5 cents every page, typical of any delicioso laser all-in-one in their price.
Conclusion
Delivering good speed and good end result quality, the Canon ImageClass MF249dw is a small and capable mono laserlight all-in-one printer for use in a micro or home office. It offers enhancements over two previous-generation models.. That is rated for higher-volume printing than either of these printers, is created for higher-volume use, and gives Wi-Fi Direct connectivity. The MF249dw also has an improved ADF than the MF227dw, and it inherits that model’s Editors’ Choice as a shared micro-office grayscale printer.
