The Canon Pixma G2110 is a multifunctional multifunction inkjet printer designed to print large volumes of printing. The printer is designed for small businesses, schools, and so on. Where the big requirement for printing is daily. The G2110 can print, scan and copy up to 8 pages per minute in black and 5 pages per minute in color. Photos can be printed in about one minute.
The printer has a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi and has a total of 1,727 nozzles that emit high-resolution paper images. Three color reservoirs and one black tank make up a printer ink tank, each of which (CMY) supports 70 ml, and black (K) holds 135 ml of ink. The ink comes in a bottle, and all you have to do is just open the tank cover and fix the bottle. The ink reservoirs are visible from the front to help the consumer physically see the ink level inside each tank and refill or refill the ink when he so requires. Although the black ink tank is on the left, three color tanks are on the right. Each tank is connected to the print head through long pipes. The print head is also a variable component, so the consumer can replace it when it’s bad or dry. Printheads are located on the moving printer bracket.
The printer has a sophisticated tray that can load up to 100 sheets at a time. The front output tray is folded but does not completely cover the compartment, which allows you to put dust inside. The printer does not have duplex printing, allowing the user to manually turn the paper for duplex printing. Adding a two-sided printing mechanism is a huge requirement to keep on paper today, and Canon could register this printer with the same design too.
Moving away from the printer, the MFD has a built-in flatbed scanner, but does not use the ADF. The scanner has an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi @ 24-bit and can scan A4 colors at a speed of about 32 seconds. The printer and scanner together create a duplicator that can scan and print black copies as desired. Multiple copies can be printed at one time, up to 20 copies in each batch.
Canon Pixma G2110 works on a regular USB 2.0 port connected to a PC. There is no wireless connection or Ethernet port that could put this MFD as a network printer, which makes it a bit smaller than an office or business printer. The printer is built with a sturdy plastic housing and has a matt finish.
The top of the screen is a control panel with a simple and very simple 1.2-inch LCD, indicating the number of copies. A total of six physical buttons are available for power, maintenance, number of copies, stop / cancel and copy in black. Buttons are very tactile and quite large for good ergonomic work. The rear panel has a power connector and a USB port.
Installing the printer is easy. The printer comes with a set of ink bundle kits and a set of printheads for color and black color. Each print head must first be installed, and bottles need to be drained in each appropriate tank. An optical disk containing the necessary software is also provided for drivers and utilities that are required for printing and scanning. This includes a print spooler and a scanner utility.
The printer utility has the necessary tools and options that allow the user to clean print heads when faced with print quality problems. This includes cleaning the head, deep cleaning the head, cleaning the bottom plate, cleaning the rollers, aligning the print head, washing the ink, checking the nozzles and adjusting the whole mode. Additional features that are perhaps a good option are automatic switching on / off and switching off the remote power supply, where you do not have to physically approach the printer to turn it off. The scanning utility is basic and can scan for each scan type, including scanning documents, scanning photos, stitching, and auto scanning.
In general, the printer is quite simple and straightforward to use and maintain by any ordinary user with minimal to zero technical knowledge. The best part is large inks with ink that will give the consumer a relief from expensive toner cartridges and transparent cylinders that will allow the user to know when to refill or fill. The printer costs Rs. 11,255, with all four ink bottles and two printheads.
