Reviews Printers– The base of the MFP has the ability to print and scan. You also can print from but does not scan to card’s memory. It is not a type-A USB port, so you can do the same thing with a USB memory key, and can not print over one USB cable from the camera with PictBridge. However, it is compatible with PictBridge, wireless MG6620, and Canon says that you allow you to print wirelessly from the camera recently with Wi-Fi. The bad news is that feature does not currently work with cameras from other manufacturers.
In addition to the NFC, the connection of choice for MG6620 had limited for USB and Wi-Fi connection, including the equivalent of Wi-Fi Direct, which Canon called access point mode. Connect the printer to your wireless network, and can connect to it via the network access point. Connect to a PC via the USB cable and can use an access point to connect rather than otherwise. However, you can use the free application from Canon to print from or scan for iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile phones and tablets.
If your mobile phone or your tablet is compatible with NFC, you can also press the phone clearly marked on the printer to make connections. Or at least that can be done once you have configured everything correctly on the phone and printer. With the NFC another printer I’ve tried features work without my need to change the settings. With MG6620, I have to call Canon to help get the characteristics of work.
