Canon Pixma TS9180 Reviews Printers– The Canon TS9180 is an all-in-one printer designed to print, scan, print on photo paper, and then be printed on a CD. It is the flagship product of Canon’s photo-oriented all-in-one series, and the MSRP is $199. You can now purchase from B & H for 169 dollars. Naturally, as a photo-shooting site, our testing was the most anticipated thing to do with photo printing capabilities.

  • Print resolution: 4800 x 1200 dpi
  • Maximum print Size: 8.5 x 14 “

  • Front and rear 100-sheet trays
  • Six-color ink system; Two-sided printing
  • 5 “touch screen LCD; SD Card Slot

  • The TS9180 has updated six tank ink systems compared to the T s 9020 that reduce graininess by replacing gray inks with ‘ photo blue ‘.

First Impressions
Without opening the box, the device was small, especially light weight and was too heavy, but had a slight stiff feel. The setting was simple, keeping in mind the price range for this printer that could not be tolerated.

Its color touchscreen will move you through the set-up experience to the extent that the sensibility feels almost; It will detect certain days and chime in to assist you. For example, if the printer has never inserted an ink cartridge, there is no need to worry, as the animated looping video will show you exactly the steps and perform the task.

Show
The first test is to print over a wireless connection from your smartphone using the Canon’s app, which is quick and easy to set up and use. You can select the crop in the app, send it back, and print it in a few minutes.

Office Tasks
All the tasks you’ve tried are quick and easy. The page prints quickly, and you can start scanning remotely and sending it to your computer in minutes. Everything is pretty intuitive and it is an impressive printer from all office types. Scanning is more suitable for document purposes than photos, but can still be used for photos.

Print Photos

Unfortunately, this is where the TS9180 is slightly staggered. Printing is still easy, but colors are unpredictable. The best results were obtained when printing with 4 x 6 glossy sheets in IPhone app. Some colors were slightly off, but the consumer crowd is guessing there is no problem here.

Printing in Photoshop is slightly different. If you are trying to create a serious printout, this method starts frequently, but there is a problem with this method and TS 9120. It appears that there is a color management conflict, such as ‘ Manage colors in Photoshop ‘ or ‘ Manage Printers ‘. Color management may be selected, but if warnings are repeatedly issued when attempting to print from the print driver settings, color management should be disabled, but the print driver will not be able to find the color settings at least on the Mac.

In addition to the various rendering intents (relative color and perception), we tried each color management method to maximize the ability of the tester with various color and tone results.

I tried to send some cool Red river cartons with the printer, but the result of using TS9120 and the first paper Polar Pearl metallic was very colored. When I tried to use the manufacturer’s. ICC profile, the colors were bright and crisp, but I highlighted the blue cast iron and a little magenta color at certain places. When the printer becomes able to manage the color, the result is flat and dull. The same paper was tested as a much better result with the Canon pro-10. Because the. ICC profile is a new printer and uses a new ink formulation compared to previous inkjet, the paper Company may need to update the. ICC profile.

The TS9180 was better off with canon papers and made sense. If you lift the shielding of the paper feeder after inserting photo paper, the touch screen informs you of the paper being used and you can easily select the Canon paper. Luckily Canon Photo Paper Pro Lustre was used for testing.

In Canon papers, the results are gone. The same photos you tried on the Polar Pearl metallic paper are slightly saturated on Pro Lustre paper, but they get a bit of a buzz when they look good overall. Some other prints on the Pro Lustre paper appear dim and fuzzy at the same time.
